Social & ecological injustices are deeply interconnected. In this #WalkfortheWorld, I'm collecting donations to support conflict & crisis survivors who are often forced to flee their homes and to help avoid & deal with natural disasters like forest fires, droughts and floods.
I pledge to walk/run 100 km in 15 days between 31st of August and 15th of September, of which the first 50 km in 5 days and the second 50 km in the next 10 days.
Besides collecting money for Greenpeace, I'm also collecting donations for the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), Stichting Vluchteling and the Red Cross together with 6 other people via:
